Name: World Peace Stupa (Clementown, India)
Description: The World Peace stupa situated in the Tibetan settlement of Clementown in Dehra Dun, is one of the largest stupa in the world. Though recently constructed, it has become a prominent site both for Buddhist and ordinary tourists.
How the painting is constructed: Because the drawing of the Buddhist structure needs to be precise, an original photograph is printed on the canvas so as to obtain the exact dimensions of the structure. It is then painted in oil medium. The effect of sun rays on the stupa is created giving the painting an ideal composition and a beautiful look.
