Name: Yumbu Lhakhang

Description: Yumbu Lhakhang is a landmark structure being the first fort to be built in Tibet. It was built by king Nyatri Tsenpo in 2nd century BC. The painting is the artist's impression of the fort before China invaded Tibet. The house shown at the base of the painting and the small stupa above are not represented in recent pictures.
